The Human Family in Christ, is a Canadian charitable foundation to provide health care and education to the under privileged near Cochabamba, Bolivia.
It was founded in 1989 by Father Andrew Cuschieri JCD, a professor at the University of Toronto, Ontario, together with seminarians.
The Human Family in Christ is a registered charity with the Canadian Revenue Agency. We issue income tax receipts to our donors.
We are all volunteers and work with ZERO management fees.
All donations are transferred directly to our programs in Bolivia.
COCAB
We are a member of COCAB in La Paz, Bolivia.
COCAB is a coordinator of 24 Canadian NGOs that are active in Bolivia.
OUR CURRENT PROJECTS ARE,
Programa Sagrada Familia
• child sponsorship program,
• construction of a new home for the program.
Girls' education program
• young women education sponsorship program,
• renovation of the dormitory building,
• irrigation of an arid parcel for an orchard.
